Hate Crimes – #Tanka

Towering over,
ill placed egos swell with pride
while victims cower

suffering from their birth rights
subject to fearful hate crimes

Cosmic Musicology: If You’re Happy And You Know It

Okay it’s been a while since I’ve set it to shuffle and played Cosmic Musicology with Steve and I’m mostly happy, so here we go.

What makes me laugh? Heresy, Nine Inch Nails

Comments: Never trust “heresy” it’s worse than ASSuming.

What makes me cry? Breathe Me, Sia

Comments: The lyrics of this tune are submerged in melancholy and the tone and tempo is so depressing, it’s hard not to cry when listening to this song.   But it is pretty great to listen to when you want to have a pity party.

What makes me mad? Missing Pieces, Jack White

Comments: This is truth! I hate missing pieces, ingredients and people.

It looks like the music Gods were looking down upon me today as everything makes perfect sense and I’m glad I played. Now, it’s your turn let’s see what’s hidden in your musical stars… For complete instructions visit Cosmic Musicology with Steve (link above) and if you want to listen to my other songs, just click the title links.

The Wizard

Bright shimmering lights
Cast from high in the sky
While taking in the sights
Guess what it was I spied

Without any warning
The Wizard walked by
It was a great morning
I believed I could fly

“Never talking
Just keeps walking
Spreading his magic”

Always at my side
Bracing my spirit
Pushing my strides
Beyond my limits

Cool wind relieves
My heated cheeks
I’m starting to believe
Yet, he never speaks

“Never talking
Just keeps walking
Spreading his magic”

Along the path we go
Feathers drift around
Together we do stroll
Covering vast ground

~During today’s walk I was inspired by The Wizard, Black Sabbath

White on white translucent black capes
Back on the rack
Bela lugosi’s dead
The bats have left the bell tower
The victims have been bled
Red velvet lines the black box
Bela lugosi’s dead
Undead undead undead
The virginal brides file past his tomb
Strewn with time’s dead flowers
Bereft in deathly bloom
Alone in a darkened room
The count
Bela logosi’s dead
Undead undead undead
