Right to Live (To Love)

  1. We share the general emotive response to such horror and evil and yet I am compelled to say, it is not a Constitution or a gun that commits murder. It is the sick mind of a crazed human being that is the “trigger”. Words and guns possess no innate ability to do harm. It is in the “hands” of evil that their power is derived.
Our hearts go out to everyone in Orlando. Love is something to be treasured and nurtured, not murdered for ideological or theological reasons.

    • I wholeheartedly agree with you. It’s the vile, misguided humans without one iota of true humanity. I’m all for the right to bear arms, yet there’s no need for military warfare to be accessible to commoners. Even after Sandy, we can’t reach a compromise to protect our children. It’s a sad, sad world.
